This sink has a large vein that looks like, but is not, a crack. Overall the sink is in great condition. Note: It is necessary to fill low spots in the original stone material to convert beige travertine into sinks, but this work is sometimes a bit more excessive or unsuccessful. It's a natural feature of the stone/sink. There are several “scratches” in sink (no structural damage). There are no issues that prevent its use as a vessel sink.
