Rivera Undermount or Drop In Bar/Prep Sink, 17 x 15 in, Smooth Semi-Satin Brass

Thompson Traders Rivera Hammered Semi-Satin Brass Bar/Prep Sink (KPU-1715HPB)

The Rivera Smooth Brass Sink by Thompson Traders offers a refined blend of artisan craftsmanship and modern versatility, making it an excellent choice for bar, prep, and compact kitchen applications. Designed for both drop-in and undermount installation, it provides flexible configuration while serving as a warm, design-forward focal point.

Handcrafted from solid 16-gauge brass, this sink features a smooth semi-satin brass finish that highlights the natural beauty of the material with a soft, elegant sheen. Unlike plated finishes, this is a raw, uncoated brass (“living”) finish, allowing it to naturally develop a patina over time or be maintained in a brighter, more polished state depending on care preferences.

With overall dimensions of approximately 17" x 15" x 8", this compact rectangular sink is ideal for prep stations, wet bars, and smaller kitchen spaces. The flat-bottom basin and 8" depth provide practical functionality within a streamlined footprint. As each sink is individually handcrafted, slight variations in dimensions and finish should be expected.

Combining durability with understated elegance, the Rivera Smooth Brass sink offers a timeless alternative to stainless steel—bringing warmth, simplicity, and artisan quality to any space.

Care & Maintenance

To maintain the beauty of your smooth brass sink:

• Clean with mild soap, water, and a soft cloth
• Dry after use to minimize spotting
• Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals
• Apply a light wax periodically to slow patina development
• Avoid prolonged contact with substances that may cause uneven patina

As a living (raw) finish, the brass will naturally darken and evolve over time. It may also be polished to restore a brighter appearance if desired.
