Kitchen Sinks are available in many different sizes and materials. The most common type of kitchen sink is stainless steel, but we also offer kitchen sinks made out of copper, granite composites, cast iron, concrete and vitreous china. In order to choose your kitchen sink you first must determine what style of sink you need, there are three main styles of kitchen sinks including undermount, drop in and apron style. Undermount sinks are typically found in higher end kitchens because they only work with solid countertop materials such as natural stone, solid surface, and quartz composites. Drop in sinks are most common and will work with any type of countertop, they only require a template hole to be cut into the countertop then the sink sits in that hole, with the rim of the sink supporting its weight. Apron or farmhouse sinks as they are often known are modelled after the large sinks found in old farmhouse kitchens, they are typically under mounted but have an exposed part, called the apron, which extends past the front side of the countertop and often has some type of decorative design on it.
